Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dedicated team in Bolton, Greater Manchester. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to apply their expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment, delivering high-quality behavioural interventions to individuals with a range of needs. The successful candidate will be instrumental in conducting functional behaviour assessments, developing and overseeing individualized treatment plans, and providing clinical supervision to RBTs and other team members. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a holistic approach to care, ensuring positive outcomes and enhancing the quality of life for our service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive functional behaviour assessments (FBAs) to identify the function of challenging behaviours.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor data-driven Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) intervention plans.
  • Provide clinical supervision and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other support staff.
  • Regularly review treatment effectiveness, modifying plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach to care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional and organisational standards.
  • Contribute to team meetings, case conferences, and professional development initiatives.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and best practices as outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Required Skills

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-certification experience working as a BCBA.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive functional behaviour assessments and develop effective intervention plans.
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with diverse client populations and settings (e.g., residential, school, community-based).
  • Experience supervising and mentoring junior behaviour therapists.
  • Knowledge of UK health and social care regulations pertinent to behavioural health services.
  • Proficiency in additional languages relevant to the local community.
