Job Description
As a Beverage Delivery Driver for PepsiCo Beverages North America in New Port Richey, you will be the face of our company, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of our beloved products to a diverse range of local businesses. This high-activity role requires a dedicated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent customer service skills, and is committed to safety and efficiency. You will be responsible for operating company vehicles, managing inventory on your route, and building strong relationships with our valued clients in the local suburbs.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company delivery vehicles (vans, box trucks) to transport beverages to designated locations.
- Load and unload beverage products at customer sites, which may include manual lifting and use of hand trucks.
- Verify product accuracy against invoices and obtain customer signatures for deliveries.
- Collect payments from customers as required and reconcile daily transactions.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving minor issues professionally.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations and company safety policies.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Rotate stock and merchandise products at customer locations as needed.
Required Skills
- Valid US Driver's License (Class D or higher).
- Clean driving record for at least the past 3 years.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly and maneuver heavy products using equipment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction handling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with air brake endorsement (or willingness to obtain).
- Minimum of 1 year of professional delivery driving experience.
- Experience with handheld delivery devices or route management software.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Familiarity with the New Port Richey and surrounding Pasco County areas.
