Job Description
Join our vibrant team at Hilton Garden Inn as a Breakfast Crew Member! We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to help us kickstart our guests’ day with a delicious breakfast experience. This role operates during the crucial 5am-10am shift, allowing you to enjoy your afternoons free. Key Responsibilities
- Set up and stock the breakfast buffet area before guests arrive, ensuring all items are fresh and appealing.
- Prepare and replenish food items, including hot and cold selections, pastries, cereals, and beverages.
- Assist guests with any requests, dietary needs, or inquiries, providing friendly and efficient service.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and serving stations.
- Clear and reset tables promptly as guests finish their meals.
- Monitor food quality and temperature to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen duties as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient breakfast service.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to consistently adhere to early morning shifts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg).
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role.
- Food Hygiene Certificate Level 1 or equivalent.
- Experience working with a diverse clientele.
