Job Description

We are seeking highly skilled and adaptable Crisis Response Nurses for short-term, high-impact assignments. This pivotal role involves providing immediate, expert nursing care during periods of critical need, such as public health emergencies, sudden surges in patient volume, or staffing shortages. You will leverage your comprehensive nursing expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across various specialties, often in fast-paced and challenging environments. Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert, rapid-response nursing care in diverse clinical settings, adapting quickly to new environments and patient populations.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, psychological, and social aspects, and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, other nurses, and support staff, to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and thoroughly in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
• Act as a resource and mentor to less experienced staff members during crisis periods.

Required Skills

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (or ability to obtain before start date).
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience (e.g., ER, ICU, Med-Surg).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Exceptional clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and challenging situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Specialty certification (e.g., CCRN, CEN, PCCN).
• Experience in crisis management, disaster response, or travel nursing.
• Fluency in multiple languages.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
