Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and self-motivated Bus Shelter Glass Cleaner to join our maintenance team in Chesapeake. This is a mobile, independent role where you will be responsible for the meticulous cleaning and upkeep of glass panels on bus shelters across assigned routes. You will operate autonomously, managing your daily schedule efficiently to ensure all assigned shelters meet our high standards of cleanliness. This role is crucial in maintaining a positive public image for our street furniture and contributing to the overall aesthetic of our urban environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular cleaning of bus shelter glass panels using appropriate tools and cleaning agents.
- Inspect shelters for any damage or maintenance issues and report findings to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate records of completed cleanings and routes.
- Ensure company vehicle and equipment are kept clean and in good working order.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures while on routes.
- Manage time effectively to complete daily routes efficiently and to a high standard.
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with the public.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Reliable and punctual.
