Job Description
We are seeking highly skilled and safety-conscious CDL-A Tanker Drivers with Hazmat endorsements to join our dedicated team in Pasadena, CA. This crucial role involves the safe and efficient transportation of various liquid bulk commodities, including hazardous materials, across assigned routes. As a KAG driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, adhering to all DOT regulations, and upholding our commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. This position offers top hourly rates for experienced professionals dedicated to excellence in bulk transport.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a CDL-A tanker truck for the transport of liquid bulk commodities, including hazardous materials.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, documenting any deficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including DOT, Hazmat, and company policies.
- Load and unload various liquid bulk products following strict safety protocols and customer guidelines.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELDs) and other necessary paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and potential issues.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and participate in safety meetings and training.
- Represent Kenan Advantage Group professionally at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Tanker Endorsement (N)
- Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) Endorsement (H or X)
- Clean driving record (MVR)
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Strong commitment to safety
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of recent verifiable CDL-A tanker driving experience
- Experience with various types of liquid bulk commodities
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and transportation management systems
