Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Energy Efficiency Data Verifier to join our remote team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for meticulously reviewing, analyzing, and verifying data related to our energy efficiency initiatives. Your work will ensure the accuracy and reliability of information used for reporting, compliance, and project optimization, directly supporting our mission to reduce carbon emissions and promote sustainable energy use. This role requires a strong commitment to accuracy and the ability to manage complex data sets independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed verification of energy consumption, savings, and other related data from various sources.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, anomalies, and inconsistencies in large data sets.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to clarify data points and ensure data integrity.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all verification activities and findings.
- Ensure strict adherence to company data security, privacy protocols, and industry-specific regulations.
- Generate clear and concise reports summarizing data verification outcomes and insights.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data verification processes and tools.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using data entry and data management software, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, crucial for remote collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and maintain high productivity in a remote work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with energy data, sustainability projects, or environmental compliance.
- Basic understanding of energy efficiency standards, methodologies, or relevant regulations (e.g., PAS 2035, ISO 50001).
- Familiarity with database systems (e.g., SQL) or business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- A degree or equivalent experience in environmental science, engineering, data science, mathematics, or a related technical field.
