Job Description
Are you a proactive and energetic individual looking for an immediate start in a dynamic environment? McDonald’s in Birmingham is seeking enthusiastic Fast Food Delivery Helpers to join our ride-along delivery team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to support our delivery drivers, ensure customer satisfaction, and earn daily tips. You’ll play a crucial role in getting our delicious food from our kitchen to our customers’ doors efficiently and with a smile.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading food orders.
- Verify order accuracy before leaving the restaurant and upon delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring a positive experience.
- Navigate routes efficiently with the driver, understanding local areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles.
- Handle food items carefully to maintain quality and presentation.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and restaurant staff.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist with basic restaurant tasks during downtime, if required.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Capable of lifting and carrying delivery bags (up to 10kg).
- Customer-focused attitude with a friendly disposition.
- Basic understanding of local geography or willingness to learn quickly.
