Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and energetic Delivery Associates to join our high-volume, fun-loving team in Gilbert, AZ. As a FedEx Delivery Associate, you will be the face of FedEx, delivering packages safely and efficiently to our customers. This role requires excellent time management, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. You’ll operate a company delivery vehicle, navigate established routes, and manage daily deliveries and pickups. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company delivery vehicle to transport packages to various destinations.
- Efficiently load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling and care.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules, adapting to changes as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups.
- Accurately scan packages and complete delivery paperwork/digital records.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding route progress or issues.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry packages up to 150 lbs with assistance.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in delivery driving or a similar logistics role.
- Familiarity with GPS devices and routing software.
- Experience in customer service.
