Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and organized Filing & Post Room Clerk to join our administrative team in Little Rock. This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals looking to start their career in a professional office environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing mail, organizing and maintaining physical and digital files, and providing general administrative support. We offer immediate start for the right candidate who is eager to learn and contribute to a fast-paced and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sort, open, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries to appropriate departments and individuals.
  • Prepare outgoing mail, packages, and shipments, ensuring proper postage and documentation.
  • Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems, ensuring accuracy and easy retrieval of documents.
  • Scan, index, and archive documents according to established procedures.
  • Assist with data entry and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Operate office equipment such as photocopiers, scanners, and franking machines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized post room and filing area.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and security protocols.
  • Provide friendly and efficient service to internal staff for mail and filing inquiries.

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite preferred).
  • Excellent time management and punctuality.
  • Ability to lift and move boxes up to 25 lbs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an office or administrative support role (even volunteer or temporary).
  • Familiarity with various filing systems (alphabetic, numeric, chronological).
  • Experience with mailroom equipment.
