Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Learn and master various fish filleting techniques under the guidance of expert fishmongers.
- Safely and efficiently fillet, skin, and portion a variety of fish species according to quality standards and customer specifications.
- Assist with the preparation and packaging of fresh fish products for distribution.
- Maintain a clean and organised work station, adhering to strict hygiene and food safety protocols.
- Operate processing equipment safely and effectively after appropriate training.
- Monitor product quality and report any discrepancies to the team leader.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, especially those related to health and safety.
Required Skills
- No prior experience in fish filleting is necessary – full training will be provided.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
