Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Full Stack Developer to join our innovative team, operating with a startup mindset within Salesforce. This role will be pivotal in building and maintaining robust integrations with the Pinterest platform, enhancing our core products’ social commerce capabilities. You will work across the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to deployment and support, focusing on creating seamless, scalable, and secure connections that empower our customers to leverage Pinterest’s rich ecosystem. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications and features with a strong emphasis on Pinterest API integrations.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to define and implement new functionalities.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in both front-end (React/Vue/Angular) and back-end (Node.js/Python/Java) environments.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, security, and reliability of all integration points and applications.
- Participate in code reviews, stand-ups, and other agile development ceremonies.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software to ensure optimal functionality.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in web development and social media APIs.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Strong experience with at least one front-end framework (React, Vue, or Angular)
- Extensive experience with back-end development using Node.js, Python, or Java
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and consumption
- Proven experience integrating with third-party APIs (experience with Pinterest API or similar social media APIs is a strong plus)
- Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Prior experience working in an agile or startup-like environment
- Knowledge of social commerce trends and analytics
