Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Golf Cart Fleet Washer to join our dynamic operations team at Hershey Country Club. In this essential role, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring our extensive fleet of golf carts is impeccably clean, meticulously maintained, and always ready for use by our members. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to presentation will directly contribute to the overall member experience and uphold the pristine image of our club. This position offers the benefit of consistent early finishes, providing an excellent work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough washing, detailing, and sanitization of all golf carts on a daily basis.
- Inspect carts for cleanliness, damage, and operational readiness before and after each use.
- Check and maintain proper fluid levels, tire pressure, and battery charge for the entire fleet.
- Report any mechanical issues, damages, or necessary repairs to the appropriate maintenance personnel promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe wash bay area and cart storage facilities.
- Assist with basic troubleshooting or minor adjustments to carts as needed.
- Ensure all golf carts are properly parked, connected to charging stations, and prepared for the following day's operations.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record to safely operate golf carts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in vehicle detailing, cleaning, or a similar hands-on role.
- Familiarity with golf course operations or country club environments.
- A proactive attitude and a desire to contribute positively to a team atmosphere.
