Job Description
Are you a retiree looking to stay active and contribute meaningfully, or a stay-at-home parent seeking flexible work that fits your family’s schedule? Home Instead in Raleigh, NC, is seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as Home Caregivers. This rewarding part-time role involves assisting seniors with daily activities, providing companionship, and helping them maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes. No prior professional caregiving experience is required; we provide comprehensive training and support to ensure your success. Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and engage in stimulating activities with clients.
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming (if required).
- Support clients with light housekeeping duties, such as tidying up, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Safely assist with mobility and transfers, including walking and wheelchair assistance.
- Remind clients to take medications and attend appointments.
- Run errands, including grocery shopping and other personal errands.
- Document care provided and report any changes in the client's condition.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous personal experience caring for a family member or friend
- First Aid and CPR certification (will provide training if not certified)
- High school diploma or equivalent
