Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Inventory Counter for casual night shifts at our Bath location. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management system. Attention to detail is paramount, as errors can lead to significant discrepancies and financial penalties for the team. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough and accurate counts of merchandise during night shifts, following established procedures.
- Verify product quantities against system records and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Organize and label inventory items correctly to facilitate efficient tracking.
- Operate handheld scanners and other inventory management tools accurately.
- Work independently or as part of a small team to complete inventory tasks within deadlines.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and safety regulations during shifts.
- Understand and accept that significant errors in counting will result in high penalties for the team, reflecting the critical nature of inventory accuracy.
