Key Responsibilities

  • Assist chemists and senior lab personnel with routine laboratory procedures and experiments.
  • Prepare and maintain laboratory samples, reagents, and equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments under supervision.
  • Document experimental data and results clearly and precisely.
  • Manage inventory of laboratory supplies and report needs.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Basic understanding of chemistry principles is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions meticulously.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new laboratory techniques and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/certificate in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
  • Prior experience in a scientific or technical setting (e.g., school lab projects, volunteer work).
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols.
