Job Description

As a Limo Logistics Coordinator – Planning & Driving mix, you will play a crucial dual role in our operations. This position combines the critical functions of logistics planning, dispatch, and active chauffeuring. You will be responsible for efficiently scheduling our fleet and drivers, optimizing routes, and ensuring timely service delivery, while also providing direct transportation services as needed. This is a hands-on role for a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills and a passion for superior customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule daily limousine operations, including driver assignments and vehicle allocation, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
  • Optimize routes and schedules to ensure maximum efficiency and punctuality for all bookings, leveraging mapping and scheduling software.
  • Serve as a primary dispatcher, communicating effectively with drivers and clients to manage real-time changes, address unexpected events, and resolve logistical challenges promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, driver logs, and vehicle maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Provide professional chauffeuring services for clients as required, adhering to all company standards for safety, etiquette, and customer service.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring limousines are impeccably clean, well-maintained, and fully operational before each service.
  • Handle client inquiries and bookings with professionalism and efficiency, providing exceptional customer service and accurate information.
  • Monitor traffic conditions, weather, and other external factors, adjusting routes and schedules proactively to avoid delays and enhance service reliability.
  • Assist in fleet management duties, including coordinating vehicle servicing, cleaning, and reporting any maintenance needs.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in logistics coordination, dispatch, or transportation management (minimum 3 years).
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency with scheduling software, GPS, and general office productivity tools.
  • Valid driver's license with a pristine driving record and a strong understanding of traffic laws.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and a commitment to providing luxury service.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience specifically within the luxury transportation or limousine industry.
  • Familiarity with the geography and common routes within Birmingham, AL, and surrounding areas.
  • Experience with advanced dispatch and fleet management systems (e.g., Limo Anywhere, TripMaster).
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Formal customer service training or certification.
