Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Mobile App Developer with a focus on iOS and Android platforms to join our dynamic team in Tulsa. In this hybrid role, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing our mobile applications, with a particular emphasis on integrating and leveraging social commerce features, including potential integrations with platforms like Pinterest. You will work on cutting-edge technologies, collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly mobile solutions that impact millions of users globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms using native programming languages (Swift/Kotlin).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, focusing on user experience and performance.
- Integrate with various backend services and third-party APIs, including social media platforms like Pinterest, to enhance app functionality and user engagement.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Perform thorough testing, debugging, and optimization to ensure application quality, performance, and responsiveness.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge within the team.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile technologies, trends, and best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Swift/Objective-C for iOS development and Kotlin/Java for Android development.
- Strong understanding of iOS SDK and Android SDK.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and integrating them into mobile applications.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Proven ability to diagnose and fix bugs, and optimize application performance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience working with social media platform APIs, specifically the Pinterest API.
- Experience with modern Android development (Jetpack Compose) and iOS development (SwiftUI).
- Familiarity with reactive programming frameworks (e.g., RxSwift, RxJava, Combine).
- Understanding of agile development methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
