Job Description
Join Speedy Glass as a Mobile Glass Polish Technician, focusing on restoring and maintaining optimal road vision for our customers. This role involves traveling to various customer locations within Halifax and surrounding areas to perform specialized glass polishing and restoration services. You will be responsible for meticulously cleaning and polishing vehicle glass, removing minor scratches, hard water spots, and other imperfections to ensure superior clarity and safety. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results directly to our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer locations to assess glass damage and perform mobile polishing services.
- Utilize specialized tools and techniques to polish and restore vehicle windshields, windows, and mirrors.
- Effectively remove scratches, hazing, hard water stains, and other vision-impairing imperfections.
- Inspect glass for quality and ensure it meets Speedy Glass's high standards for clarity and safety.
- Provide exceptional customer service, explaining services performed and offering maintenance tips.
- Manage and maintain company-provided mobile service vehicle and equipment.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and digital records accurately and promptly.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during service delivery.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 5 Nova Scotia Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle components and glass types.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in automotive detailing, glass repair, or a related field.
- Certification in automotive detailing or glass repair.
- Familiarity with mobile service operations.
