Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Level 2 IT Technical Support Specialist to join our remote team. This role is crucial for maintaining the seamless operation of our internal systems and supporting our global workforce. As a Level 2 specialist, you will provide advanced technical assistance, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our IT infrastructure. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a world-class entertainment technology company from anywhere in the USA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues for internal employees.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems, escalating to Level 3 support or specialized teams when necessary.
  • Manage and resolve service requests and incidents through our IT service management system.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding procedures, ensuring proper access and equipment provisioning.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of IT documentation, knowledge base articles, and procedural guides.
  • Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues to ensure system stability.
  • Educate users on best practices and efficient use of IT resources.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their technical needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Stay current with the latest technology trends and Netflix's internal systems to continuously improve support quality.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT technical support, helpdesk, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting macOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Experience with identity management systems (Okta, Active Directory, Google Workspace).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Confluence).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to providing high-quality support.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, ITIL Foundation).
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
  • Previous experience in a large-scale, global enterprise environment.
  • Familiarity with security best practices and incident response procedures.
