Job Description
Join our dynamic team at Walmart Global Tech as an Online Order Flow Tester. In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in ensuring a flawless and intuitive purchasing journey for our customers across various e-commerce platforms. You will rigorously test the end-to-end order process, from product selection to checkout and post-purchase activities, identifying bugs, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new features and existing functionalities within the online order flow.
- Identify, document, and report bugs and defects clearly and concisely using a bug tracking system.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and validate solutions.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not negatively impact existing functionalities.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning, providing input on testing efforts and timelines.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the end-user experience meets expectations.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance or a testing role, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with various web browsers and mobile operating systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
- Basic knowledge of SQL or data querying for backend validation.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Familiarity with API testing concepts.
- Experience with performance or security testing is a plus.
