Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Pilates Studio Host to join our dynamic team in Coventry. In this vital role, you will be the welcoming face of our Pilates studio, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for all members and guests. You will manage bookings, maintain the studio’s pristine condition, and support our instructors. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working, with options to work remotely for certain administrative tasks, balancing your time between our modern studio environment and home. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all members and prospective members entering the Pilates studio, creating a positive first impression.
- Manage class bookings, cancellations, and inquiries efficiently using our booking system.
- Ensure the studio is clean, tidy, and well-organized before, during, and after classes.
- Prepare studio equipment and props for classes as needed, ensuring they are in excellent condition.
- Assist Pilates instructors with administrative tasks and member support.
- Provide comprehensive information about Pilates classes, schedules, and membership options.
- Handle member feedback and resolve minor issues professionally and courteously.
- Support remote administrative duties such as schedule management, communication, and digital content updates from a home office as required.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our studio offerings and promotions.
Required Skills
- Proven customer service experience, preferably in a hospitality or fitness environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, booking software).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fitness studio or health club setting.
- Knowledge or personal interest in Pilates or other fitness disciplines.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Experience with remote work tools and collaborative platforms.
