Job Description
Are you meticulous, detail-oriented, and passionate about quality? Lush Cosmetics is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to join our vibrant team in Cheltenham. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for meticulously inspecting our beauty products at various stages of production to ensure they meet our stringent quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual and sensory inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods against established specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and document any non-conforming products or materials, initiating corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct basic laboratory tests and measurements to verify product attributes such as pH, texture, and appearance.
- Maintain accurate records of all inspection activities, test results, and quality data.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and internal quality assurance protocols.
- Assist in the investigation of customer complaints related to product quality.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality control processes and procedures.
- Participate in training new production staff on quality guidelines and best practices.
Required Skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Basic understanding of quality control principles.
