Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare reagents, media, and solutions according to established protocols.

  • Accurately record experimental observations and data in laboratory notebooks or electronic systems.
  • Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering supplies and organizing reagents.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes and procedures.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols precisely.
  • Basic understanding of laboratory safety principles.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a laboratory setting (academic or industrial) is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
