Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Virtual Medical Receptionist to join our innovative telehealth team. This is an entry-level position that includes comprehensive paid training, making it perfect for individuals eager to start a career in healthcare administration without prior experience. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing essential administrative support to ensure seamless virtual care experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Manage virtual patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth patient journey.
- Schedule and confirm telehealth appointments via phone and secure messaging platforms.
- Respond promptly and professionally to patient inquiries regarding appointments, services, and general information.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records within our electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Provide technical assistance to patients experiencing difficulties connecting to virtual appointments.
- Handle incoming calls, direct them to the appropriate department, and take messages when necessary.
- Verify patient insurance information and assist with basic billing inquiries.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and support services.
- Participate actively in all required paid training sessions to develop and enhance skills.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using computers, web browsers, and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
