Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Recycling Data Annotator to join our innovative ‘Smart Working Green’ team in Meridian, Idaho. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for meticulously reviewing and labeling data related to recycling processes, material identification, and waste stream analysis. Your work will directly support the development and improvement of our AI and machine learning models, helping us optimize recycling efficiency, reduce waste, and promote sustainable practices. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a commitment to accuracy, and an interest in environmental sustainability. You will play a vital part in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive our green initiatives forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately annotate and categorize various forms of data, including images, video, and text, related to recycling materials and processes.
  • Follow precise guidelines and instructions for data labeling to ensure high-quality and consistent annotations.
  • Identify and escalate complex or ambiguous data points for further review and clarification.
  • Contribute to the refinement of annotation guidelines and best practices.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to improve data quality and model performance.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and data security protocols.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer applications and web-based tools.
  • Ability to concentrate and perform repetitive tasks accurately for extended periods.
  • Basic understanding of recycling concepts and waste management (e.g., types of recyclable materials).
