Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Remote Account Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for fostering long-term relationships with our existing customer base, ensuring their continued success, and identifying opportunities for growth and expansion within their current Salesforce ecosystem. As a Remote Account Manager, you will be responsible for understanding client needs, demonstrating the value of Salesforce solutions, and acting as a trusted advisor to help them achieve their business objectives. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere within Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with a portfolio of existing clients.
- Understand client business objectives and challenges to proactively identify opportunities where Salesforce solutions can add further value.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to discuss performance, progress, and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, support, sales engineers) to ensure client satisfaction and successful solution adoption.
- Identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to expand Salesforce's footprint.
- Manage contract renewals and negotiate terms to ensure client retention.
- Provide accurate forecasts of renewal and expansion opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce product developments and industry trends to effectively advise clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, issues, and escalations.
- Document all client interactions and activities in Salesforce CRM.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management, customer success, or a similar client-facing role, preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of CRM principles and business processes.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and drive growth opportunities within existing accounts.
- Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote, independent setting.
- Proficiency with CRM software, ideally Salesforce.
- Ability to articulate value propositions and demonstrate product features effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience working with Australian businesses and understanding of the local market.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant).
- Familiarity with various industries and their specific challenges and opportunities.
