Job Description

In this 100% remote role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of our innovative software and hardware solutions. We are looking for someone with a meticulous approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a distributed environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify software and hardware functionality.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using established bug tracking systems.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on usability and testability.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Provide clear and concise status updates on testing progress and results.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Familiarity with test case management tools and bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Understanding of database concepts and SQL queries.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
