Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer to join our innovative team in Jacksonville, Florida. In this hybrid role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying robust RPA solutions that streamline critical business processes, enhance efficiency, and drive digital transformation across FIS. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand process requirements, identify automation opportunities, and deliver high-quality, scalable automation solutions using leading RPA platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy RPA solutions using industry-leading tools (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere).
- Collaborate with business analysts and subject matter experts to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and identify automation opportunities.
- Create process design documents (PDD) and solution design documents (SDD) for RPA implementations.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of RPA solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and support existing RPA bots, performing necessary enhancements and bug fixes.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of RPA development methodologies and practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers when required.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in RPA development with a proven track record of successful bot deployments.
- Proficiency in at least one major RPA tool (UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere).
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Python, or Java.
- Experience with SQL databases and API integrations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Eligibility for visa sponsorship in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- RPA Developer certification from UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere.
- Experience working in the financial services industry.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with RPA solutions.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
