Job Description
Join the FedEx team as an Entry Level Shipping Dock Runner in Spokane, WA! This is an immediate start opportunity perfect for individuals looking to begin a career in logistics and transportation. As a Shipping Dock Runner, you will be an essential part of our operations, responsible for the swift and safe movement of packages and freight throughout our busy dock. We are seeking motivated, reliable individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. No prior experience is necessary – we provide comprehensive training!
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently load and unload packages from trucks and trailers.
- Sort and move freight to designated areas within the warehouse.
- Scan packages using handheld devices to ensure accurate tracking.
- Operate various types of material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks (training provided).
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
