Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Stable Cleaner to join our team for morning shifts. If you have a strong work ethic, an eye for detail, and a genuine love for horses, this is the perfect opportunity for you. You will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of our stables, contributing directly to the health and comfort of our equine residents. This role is crucial to our daily operations and requires reliability and a proactive approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Muck out stalls thoroughly and efficiently.
- Replenish bedding as needed, ensuring stalls are dry and comfortable.
- Clean and disinfect feed buckets and water troughs daily.
- Sweep and maintain barn aisles, tack rooms, and feed rooms.
- Monitor horse health and report any concerns to stable management.
- Assist with general barn maintenance and organization.
- Ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
- Follow all safety protocols and stable procedures.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks.
- Reliability and punctuality for early morning shifts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- A genuine love and respect for horses.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in an equestrian environment.
- Knowledge of horse care and stable management practices.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
