Job Description

Kadlec Regional Medical Center is seeking a Student Administrative Executive to join our team through our Entry Level Path program. This role is designed for individuals with little to no prior experience, providing comprehensive training and mentorship to develop essential administrative and professional skills. You will gain hands-on experience supporting various departments, contributing to efficient operations, and playing a vital role in our mission to provide excellent patient care. Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to various departments and leadership, including scheduling, correspondence, and data entry.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as requested.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes.
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- Handle incoming calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
- Support special projects and initiatives to enhance departmental efficiency.
- Learn and adapt to new administrative technologies and software systems.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other hospital staff.
- Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and HIPAA regulations.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- Previous volunteer experience in an office or healthcare setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology
