Job Description

Pick ‘n Save is seeking a dedicated Supermarket Trolley Auditor to ensure our customers always have access to clean, functional shopping trolleys. This role is crucial for maintaining a positive shopping experience and involves outdoor work, physical activity, and meticulous attention to detail. Key Responsibilities
- Regularly inspect and audit shopping trolleys for cleanliness, damage, and functionality across various Pick 'n Save locations.
- Identify and report damaged or non-functional trolleys for repair or removal.
- Organize and retrieve trolleys from parking lots and store perimeters, ensuring they are neatly stored and readily available.
- Maintain accurate records of trolley inventory, audit findings, and maintenance needs.
- Communicate effectively with store management regarding trolley availability and issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines while performing duties.
- Assist with other general store duties as needed, focusing on outdoor and physical tasks.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking, lifting, pushing, and pulling trolleys for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail for identifying trolley defects.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or outdoor service role.
- Familiarity with supermarket operations.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation (as auditing may occur across multiple local stores).
