Job Description
Are you ready to kickstart your career in supply chain management? XPO Logistics is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Entry Level Supply Chain Associate. This role is designed for those with little to no prior experience, offering a comprehensive training program to develop foundational skills in logistics, inventory management, and operational efficiency. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to the smooth flow of goods. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and accurate record-keeping.
- Support inventory management activities, including stock counts, reconciliation, and data entry.
- Learn and apply operational procedures for warehousing, distribution, and transportation.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and carriers to resolve basic issues and facilitate operations.
- Utilize company software and systems to track orders, manage data, and generate reports.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for enhanced efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all daily activities.
