Job Description
Are you passionate about The Sims and have a keen eye for detail? Electronic Arts is looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance Tester to join our team for The Sims franchise. Key Responsibilities
- Execute test cases and test plans for The Sims games across various platforms.
- Identify, document, and track bugs, glitches, and other issues using designated bug tracking software.
- Provide clear, concise, and detailed bug reports, including steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure issues are resolved without introducing new problems.
- Collaborate with development teams, designers, and other QA testers to understand game features and testing requirements.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings, providing updates on testing progress and challenges.
- Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Provide constructive feedback on game features, usability, and overall player experience.
Required Skills
- Proven experience playing The Sims franchise games.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Proficiency in using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) or willingness to learn quickly.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycles and QA methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in Quality Assurance or game testing.
- Familiarity with game development tools and engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).
- Experience with different gaming platforms (PC, console, mobile).
- Degree or certification in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Game Design).
- Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of game mechanics and user experience.
