Job Description
Join our dynamic team at Electronic Arts (EA) as a Virtual Beta Tester with a specific focus on upcoming game releases. This is a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the quality and player experience of our next-generation titles from the comfort of your home. You will be responsible for rigorously testing pre-release game builds, identifying bugs, providing detailed feedback, and ensuring our games meet the high standards our players expect. We are looking for passionate gamers who are meticulous, observant, and can articulate their findings clearly. Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and scenarios for pre-release EA game titles across various platforms (PC, console, mobile).
- Identify, document, and track bugs, glitches, and other issues using our internal bug tracking system.
- Provide comprehensive and constructive feedback on gameplay, user experience, balance, and overall enjoyment.
- Collaborate with development teams to clarify issues and suggest improvements.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure the stability and quality of new builds.
- Participate in remote team meetings and communicate progress regularly.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality agreements regarding unreleased game content.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated passion for video games and familiarity with various genres.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort with online collaboration tools.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a personal computer/gaming console.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in game testing, quality assurance, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira, Asana).
- Experience playing a wide range of EA titles across different platforms.
