Job Description

We are actively seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technicians to join our team in Tucson, Arizona. This position offers flexible Part-Time and Full-Time shifts, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for immediate employment with varying schedules. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including prescription data entry, counting, pouring, measuring, and labeling.
  • Verify prescription information with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate patient profiles and medication records.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications.
  • Process prescription billing and insurance claims.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering patient questions and addressing concerns.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Active Pharmacy Technician certification/licensure as required by the state of Arizona
  • Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to patient privacy and HIPAA compliance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail or hospital setting
  • Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program
  • Familiarity with pharmacy management software systems
