Job Description
Are you passionate about cars and have an eye for detail? Motorpoint is seeking a dedicated Mobile Valeting Assistant to join our growing team in Newcastle-under-Lyme. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working independently, travelling to various client locations, and delivering a showroom-standard finish. A company van, equipment, and full training will be provided. If you’re looking for a dynamic role where every day is different, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to various client locations, including homes, businesses, and Motorpoint sites, as scheduled.
- Perform comprehensive interior and exterior valeting services for a range of vehicles, from compact cars to SUVs.
- Utilise provided equipment and cleaning products effectively and safely to achieve high-quality results.
- Ensure all work is completed to Motorpoint's exacting standards and within allocated timeframes.
- Manage and maintain company-provided equipment, ensuring it is clean, organised, and in good working order.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanour when interacting with clients.
- Accurately complete job sheets and record work carried out.
Required Skills
- Full UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for achieving immaculate results.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Good communication skills.
- Physical fitness to perform valeting tasks, including bending, lifting, and prolonged standing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in vehicle valeting or detailing is a plus, but not essential as full training is provided.
- Familiarity with various cleaning products and equipment.
- Customer service experience.
