Job Description
UPS is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as an App Beta Tester. This is a unique contract opportunity to provide critical feedback on pre-release versions of the UPS mobile application, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience for millions worldwide. Your insights will directly influence the development cycle, helping us refine features, identify bugs, and improve overall app performance. This role is 100% remote, offering flexible hours to fit your schedule while contributing to a global brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and scenarios on pre-release versions of the UPS mobile application across various devices.
- Identify, document, and report bugs, glitches, and usability issues with clear, concise descriptions and reproducible steps.
- Provide constructive feedback on new features, user interface (UI), user experience (UX), and overall app functionality.
- Participate in surveys, interviews, and focus groups to share detailed insights and suggestions.
- Communicate effectively with the development team and project managers regarding testing progress and findings.
- Maintain confidentiality of pre-release software and sensitive company information.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned testing tasks within specified deadlines.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in using iOS and/or Android mobile devices and applications.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail to identify subtle issues.
- Ability to articulate feedback clearly and concisely, both written and verbal.
- Basic understanding of mobile application functionality and user interaction principles.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Reliable internet connection and personal smartphone (iOS or Android).
