Job Description

Join Speedy Glass as a Mobile Glass Polish Technician, specializing in enhancing ‘Clean Road Vision’. In this role, you will be responsible for travelling to various customer locations within Edmonton and surrounding areas to provide expert glass polishing, scratch removal, and surface restoration for vehicle windshields, windows, and headlights. Your work will directly contribute to improving driver safety and vehicle aesthetics. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for precision and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site assessment of vehicle glass damage, including scratches, hazing, and wear.
  • Execute professional glass polishing and restoration services using specialized tools and techniques.
  • Conduct headlight restoration to improve clarity and visibility.
  • Ensure all work meets Speedy Glass's high-quality standards and customer satisfaction benchmarks.
  • Manage and maintain mobile service vehicle, equipment, and inventory.
  • Provide clear explanations of services performed and offer preventive maintenance advice to customers.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Accurately complete service reports and transaction documentation.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude as a brand ambassador for Speedy Glass.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in automotive detailing or glass restoration.
  • Strong understanding of various glass types and polishing techniques.
  • Ability to operate specialized glass polishing equipment safely and effectively.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on the road.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with mobile service operations.
  • Certification in automotive glass repair or detailing.
  • Familiarity with local Edmonton geography.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
