Job Description
Graham Construction is seeking a reliable and diligent Construction Gatekeeper to join our team in Burnaby, British Columbia. This role offers a stable day shift schedule and a low-stress environment, making it ideal for individuals seeking consistent work with clear responsibilities. As a Gatekeeper, you will be the first point of contact for our construction site, ensuring secure access and contributing to a safe and organized work environment. Your primary duties will involve monitoring site entry and exit, maintaining accurate logs, and providing a welcoming presence for all authorized personnel and visitors. This is a crucial role that supports overall site operations without requiring heavy physical labor or complex decision-making, focusing instead on consistent adherence to protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the construction site for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate daily logs of all individuals and vehicles entering and exiting the site.
- Verify credentials and issue visitor passes as required, following established procedures.
- Provide a polite and professional first point of contact for all site visitors and contractors.
- Report any unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activities to site management immediately.
- Ensure all site safety protocols related to access control are strictly followed.
- Assist with general site inquiries and direct visitors to the appropriate contact persons.
- Keep the gatehouse or entry point organized and tidy.
