Job Description
We are seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented Entry Level Oilfield Courier with a strong focus on secure document transportation. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of sensitive documents, equipment, and critical supplies between our Tampa facility and various oilfield locations or related operational sites. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport sensitive documents, small equipment, and critical supplies to designated oilfield locations and operational hubs.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and secure document handling procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and pickups, ensuring proper documentation and chain of custody.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the company vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure the cleanliness and operational readiness of the assigned company vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, receiving personnel, and other team members regarding delivery status and potential delays.
- Navigate routes efficiently, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
- Represent Baker Hughes professionally at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid state-issued Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to security protocols.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage routes efficiently.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Physical ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in delivery, courier, or logistics roles (even if not in the oilfield sector).
- Familiarity with GPS devices and route optimization software.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
