Job Description
Join Netflix as an Internal Auditor with a dedicated focus on Administrative processes and Data integrity. In this hybrid role based in Centennial, CO, you will be instrumental in evaluating and enhancing the effectiveness of our internal controls across various departments. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring data governance, privacy, and system security are upheld to the highest standards. You will develop and execute audit programs, leveraging data analytics to identify potential risks and control weaknesses, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of audit methodologies and a passion for data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits focused on administrative processes, data integrity, and compliance across various departments.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls related to data governance, privacy, and system security.
- Develop and execute audit programs, including data analytics techniques, to identify potential risks and control weaknesses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and data flows, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare detailed audit reports, clearly articulating findings, risks, and recommendations to management.
- Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and follow-up on previous audit findings.
- Stay current with industry best practices in internal auditing, data analytics, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in internal audit, public accounting, or a related data assurance role.
- Strong understanding of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO) and audit methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau) for audit testing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) software.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA, CISA, or other relevant professional certifications.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in the entertainment or technology industry.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and associated controls.
- Knowledge of global data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
