Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Body Language Annotator to join our Video Analysis Support team. In this remote role, you will be responsible for meticulously observing, interpreting, and annotating human body language cues in video footage. Your work will directly contribute to the development and refinement of advanced AI models focused on human behavior understanding, interaction analysis, and accessibility features. This is a critical role that requires a keen eye for detail, strong observational skills, and a commitment to accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and annotate specific body language cues, gestures, postures, and facial expressions in a high volume of video data.
- Categorize and label video segments according to predefined guidelines and taxonomies related to human interaction and non-verbal communication.
- Maintain high levels of annotation accuracy and consistency across all assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to refine annotation guidelines and improve data quality.
- Provide constructive feedback on annotation tools and workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure data privacy and confidentiality protocols are strictly adhered to during all annotation processes.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in data annotation, video analysis, or a related field focusing on human behavior.
- Exceptional observational skills and a keen eye for detail in identifying subtle body language cues.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficiency with annotation software and tools (experience with video annotation platforms is a plus).
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Anthropology, Linguistics, Film Studies, or a related behavioral science field.
- Understanding of non-verbal communication theories and human interaction principles.
- Experience working with large datasets and contributing to machine learning projects.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace applications.
