Job Description

Join our vibrant farm camp as a Picker and become an essential part of our seasonal harvest team! This role offers a unique opportunity to experience farm life, contribute to the agricultural process, and enjoy a social working environment. We provide board (accommodation and meals) as part of the package, ensuring a comfortable and community-focused experience. You will be responsible for harvesting various crops, maintaining quality standards, and working collaboratively with a diverse team. No prior experience is necessary; we provide all required training and support to help you succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Harvesting crops such as berries, fruits, and vegetables by hand or using designated tools.
  • Carefully sorting and packing harvested produce according to quality standards and guidelines.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area in the fields and packing stations.
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations and farm protocols.
  • Working effectively as part of a team to meet daily picking targets and ensure efficient operations.
  • Communicating any issues with crop quality, equipment, or safety to supervisors.
  • Assisting with other general farm duties as required during the harvest season.

Required Skills

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work efficiently.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Reliability and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Excellent team player with a positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in agricultural work or manual labour.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours during peak harvest periods.
  • Basic understanding of English for safety instructions and team communication.
