Job Description
The Stephenville Harbourfront Hotel is seeking an experienced and passionate Boutique Hotel Manager to lead our dedicated team. This pivotal role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of luxury hospitality, a commitment to operational excellence, and a proven ability to inspire staff and delight guests. As the heart of our hotel, you will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring financial success, maintaining our high standards of service, and fostering a memorable stay for every guest. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial targets, including revenue growth and cost control.
- Maintain and elevate the hotel's reputation for exceptional guest service and luxury standards.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of hospitality professionals.
- Manage guest relations, addressing feedback and ensuring satisfaction.
- Implement and monitor health, safety, and security protocols.
- Oversee marketing and promotional activities in collaboration with the sales team.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and supplier relationships.
- Prepare and analyze operational reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations and company policies.
Required Skills
- Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in hotel management, with at least 2 years in a boutique or luxury hotel setting.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with revenue management and digital marketing strategies.
- Multilingual abilities (e.g., French, a plus for Canada).
- Certification in hospitality management or related field.
- Proven track record of improving guest satisfaction scores.
