Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Interior Wall Emulsion Helper to join our Fresh Coat Tiling team in Scarborough. This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to start a career in the tiling and home improvement industry. You will support our experienced tilers and decorators in preparing surfaces, mixing materials, and maintaining a clean and organised worksite. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity to learn valuable skills and grow within a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced tilers and decorators with various tasks on-site.
- Prepare walls and other surfaces for tiling and emulsion application, including cleaning and minor repairs.
- Mix paints, grouts, and adhesives according to specifications.
- Transport materials and tools around the worksite safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring tools are properly stored and materials disposed of correctly.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures.
- Assist with clean-up after project completion.
- Learn and apply new techniques and skills under supervision.
