Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Full-Time Nanny to join a wonderful family in Overland Park. This rewarding role involves providing exceptional care for children, fostering their development, and maintaining a positive, structured environment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide nurturing, engaging, and age-appropriate care for children.
- Plan and execute creative, educational, and fun activities.
- Prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for children.
- Assist with light household duties related to children, such as tidying play areas and children's laundry.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for the children.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with parents regarding child's development, daily activities, and any concerns.
- Adhere to household routines and schedules, including nap times, meal times, and bedtime.
- Manage children's appointments and extracurricular activities as needed.
- Practice positive discipline techniques and promote good manners.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable professional childcare experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both children and adults.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage children's schedules and activities effectively.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- A genuine love for children and a commitment to their well-being.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain quickly).
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) coursework, degree, or relevant certifications.
- Experience with specific age groups (e.g., infants, toddlers, school-aged children).
- Ability to swim for potential pool supervision.
- Proficiency in a second language.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
