Job Description

Are you passionate about promoting health and well-being from the comfort of your own home? UnitedHealthcare is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Online Wellness Coordinator to join our virtual support team. This is a 100% remote position where you will play a crucial role in empowering individuals to achieve their wellness goals through online resources, virtual coaching, and educational programs. You will be the first point of contact for many, guiding them through personalized wellness journeys and fostering a supportive online community. This flexible role allows you to make a significant impact on health outcomes while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide virtual support and guidance to members on various wellness topics including nutrition, fitness, stress management, and preventative health.
  • Conduct one-on-one virtual wellness consultations and group coaching sessions.
  • Develop and curate engaging online wellness content, resources, and educational materials.
  • Monitor and respond to member inquiries within our online wellness platforms.
  • Track member progress, engagement, and outcomes, providing regular reports.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance wellness program offerings.
  • Stay updated on current wellness trends, research, and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential member records in compliance with company policies and regulations.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using virtual communication tools (e.g., video conferencing, online chat platforms).
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Empathy and a genuine desire to help others improve their health.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team.
  • Basic knowledge of health and wellness principles.
  • Comfortable with technology and learning new software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Nutrition, Kinesiology, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Certified Health Coach (CHC) or Wellness Coach certification.
  • Previous experience in a virtual support, customer service, or health education role.
  • Familiarity with digital wellness platforms and content creation.
