Job Description

In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for many patients, guiding them through their healthcare journey, answering questions, and connecting them with the right resources. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and seamless experience for our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, providing clear and concise information regarding appointments, services, and general inquiries.
- Assist patients with navigating the healthcare system, including scheduling appointments, coordinating services, and understanding treatment plans.
- Connect patients with appropriate internal and external resources, such as financial assistance, support groups, and transportation services.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with clinical staff, administrative teams, and other departments to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Address patient concerns and complaints with empathy and efficiency, escalating issues to appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Educate patients on available digital tools and patient portals to enhance their engagement and access to information.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with healthcare trends and best practices.
Required Skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or some college coursework.
- Prior experience in customer service or a public-facing role.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
- Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish).
